arrived in Melbourne this morning but we are very jet lagged!! The house we have rented is beautiful.

For that is a lovely state of affairs and what I think of Melbourne is just my opinion and has no place in your future events.

well it's not actually Melbourne - we're staying at a place called Barwon Heads - for three weeks!

Okay!
Just had a look on Google images to see what Barwon Heads looks like cos I've never been there meself. Though I've been to Geelong but not along the Great Ocean Road.
So I see you will maybe get to see the 13th Beach, The Bluff, The river, the wetlands, The Great Ocean Road.
And I guess maybe Melbourne if you can fit it in. Which I expect you to like as most people do.
Was there me self in Feb this year. Only stayed 2 weeks though. The weather must be a bit of a shock but a pleasant one I hope for you. It must be so hot compared to England at the moment.
And the seas being blue instead of grey. And sun all the time. And the different smells - from the trees! And the new bird sounds. I bet you won't want to return to England.!!
Do I miss it? Afraid not!
